I got the 80/100w bulbs, expected them to be brighter. Which wires did you
upgrade? The JCW power lock was on sale for $59.95. Installing the lock
itself takes about 10 minutes with a #40 torx bit. Running the harness from
the tailgate, along the frame rail, up & into the firewall took about an
hour, but I did a THOROUGH job & used twice the tie-straps they supply you
with. Same harness as the Pace Powerbolt, but a much heavier-duty lock
itself. I'd recommend it to anyone with a 97-up, Pop'n'Lock's p/n is DD610
for the 97-up Daks. If you could forward the info for the wiring upgrade, or
know which archive it's in, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
P.S. I now have a plate Pop'n'Lock for sale, $20 shipped UPS . I stripped the
flat black pebble finish off & repainted it black, so you might want to paint
it your color to match. It's the one you put over your handle (after you
remove the bezel) & lock with a key. Sells for $39.95 new.
