oops, I accidently hit "send" without composing a message. Then the
DML disappeared for hours.
'98 DAKOTA SLAYS '90 CAVALIER
Yes, I had my first driving accident today (a first I could have done
without) Driving down the road, went to make a left turn so I
flipped on my turn signal, no oncoming traffic so I started to turn.
But I didn't realize that the one lane road I was on had already
turned into a 2 lane (saw that it was going to, but the white dashes
on the road were too faded to see) and as I turned, this car came
flying up on my left side. Saw it, not soon enough. Whomp!
Left front corner of my Dak is now wearing their paint. Took a chunk
of metal off the fender lip- I think that must have been their
passenger door handle- I saw it was gone.
Took her down to the dealership and got an estimate from the body
shop guy- $971. Which, considering my $500 deductible, and my
insurance is going to gouge me even worse than they already do, I'm
screwed. :(....
Of course, their car was dented all down the passenger side.
And to top it all off, I came home and the DML wasn't working!!!
