You need to change the gears in your diffs whenever upgrading to larger
diameter tires to help restore the lost power and gas mileage which is very
common when going up 3+ inches in tire size(diameter). Taller tires take
more power to turn than shorter tires. I could go on and on about why needs,
but basically you will need to, if you want to help out your engine.
