Yeah, it was a blast, the only thing that sucked was that my arms are
sore from driving the Gran Prix cars soo much, and EVERYONE got sun
burned due to the like 90* weather yesterday.
Good ol' Jim needs to WAKE UP!!!!!! On the dragsters, it was like the
light goes green, everone leaves, and Jim is just leaving. Baaaad
Jim!!!!!
Got Jim on tape wiping out on the Gran Prix cars, "allegedly"
avoiding a renegade cone (hehe!!) But it was pretty much a 3-way tie
between Gary P, me, and Jim (in that order) with like .5 sec seperating
us all. Even saw some dummy try to take a "short cut" through the
barriers, but ended up on top of them. It made one of those crash sounds
that you almost felt, and KNEW it hurt!!
The Slick Track was real fun, our whole group got on at once, there
was 10 karts, and 10 of us, so it was an all club run. Again, Jim was
the only one with problems (what's new....), being nosed into the corner
"allegedly" by Gary P, and anyone that got in my way, well, I just
"gently" made my way through, lol!!! It was a blast!!
I didn't have the Dak at the event :-(. My boss needed a truck to move
some stuff, so I was Dakless. So I was driving his car, a '97 30th
anniversary LT-4 SS Camaro 6-spd!! I met up with Toomey and Eli in
Glendale, I got onto the 5 south, and I just layed into it, feeling the
rush of power, then, wait a minute, where did they go?? They didn't know
where they were going, so I had to slow down and let them catch up. What
fun, I got into it with some punk kid in a riced Eclipse on the way back
home, what a joke!!!!!!!! He never had a chance!!!!! Hahaha, just put it
into 3rd and see ya!!!!! Gave Toomey and Eli a ride to Mc D's, and as
soon as I punched it, Toomey's first words were "OH S__T!!!" Ahhh, the
power felt good, brought me back to my 4-4-2 days. Speaking of, hey
Bernd, how do you like the tape so far??
