On the intake manifold, next to the distributor, there is a small domed
part with one wire coming off the top. This part is screwed into what
looks like a brass fitting that is screwed into the intake manifold. On
the brass(?) fitting there is attached a three-pronged electrical
connector. Can anyone tell me what this part is called? I looked through
the Haynes manual and did not find it.
I have an oil leak and this part looks suspicious. There is an obvious
oil trail coming from it's base at the intake manifold.
