What B.S.! Is this your insurance company or the truckers insurance company
dicking you around like this? If it's the truckers, I'd get my agent on the
horn and get them to straighten this crap out. Arguing over pennies like this
is just a ridiculous waste of everybody's time!
Luck!!

Well folks.... It may be that I am NOT gonna be one of the Elitist Snobs.

The insurance company called the dealership on Monday and said, "We are
coming going to come and pick up the totaled Dakota, it's comfirmed"
The salesman, eager beaver that he is, gave orders for the newly-delivered
R/T to be prepped.
Tuesday, the insurance company called back and said, "We decided to fix the
4x4, and based on the adjustors estimate, we will pay $9500.00" R/T is put
on hold.
After fighting with the insurance company, the adjustors, the body shop
people etc, we find out that the difference between scrapping the 4x4 and
fixing it is about $580.00. I even offered to pay the money to scrap it and
they said no.... now we wait for yet another decision by these
^(*&*^%(*^)(*& bean counters.

So.... tomorrow I return the loaner, get a rental truck and settle in for
the long haul. The rental alone will cost them about 2500.00 and I plan to
get the biggest, most expesive SOB the rental company has.

I HATE PEOPLE.
