Came across this on the R/T list, thought I'd pass it on.
Once upon a time this kid in an S10 Xtreme was cruising a rural highway when
he looked up and saw blinking lights in the rearview mirror. Having too many
tickets already he decided to make a run for it. He sped up and the lights
were still there. He decided to go even faster, AAAHHH lights still there. He
floored it and ran at top speed for 5 minutes lights STILL there! He then
decided he couldn't outrun them so he pulled over, stopped, and waited for
the worst.
Soon a man in a uniform tapped on his window. The kid rolled the window down
to face his fate. The man leaned over and said, "Son, could you pull up a
little bit further so I can put the mail in that mailbox, I still have a lot
more stops today"!
