I'm told that no friction modifier is needed with any senthetic gear oil
because the modifier helps the clutch plates slip.Since senthetic is already
"slippery" its not needed. As to the suggestion of not removing the Diff.
cover when changing oil your asking for trouble. You will never know you
have a miner problem (cheap to fix) until it is major (big dollers). Brent
