I don't have a Supercharger on the truck...Nitrous.
Stick with a maximum of 2.5" on the exhaust side...3" is just too big unless
you've got one hell of a V6 that only runs at high rpm's. (Several other
DML'ers have tried a 3" and went back to 2" or 2.5".)
Get a modified TB and Headers/Cat-Back and work from there. Those three
mods will give you the best gains overall. I'm tearing down my V6 next
weekend to have the belly pan replaced with a aluminum plate (TIG welded) as
well as port matching and cleaning up the runners. (Yes, the heads are
coming off as well.)

Bernd,
Your one of the few that I know who have the SC on a V6 - along with the
other 5000 mods you've done ;-) Anyway, did you stick with the theory that
3" exhaust is too much for a V6, or does that apply when your using an SC.
I guess what I'm really lookin for is some type of chart where I can compute
intake and exhaust airflow to ensure I choose the right size exhaust. Of
course I would then have to find the flow that I get from the K&N set-up,
TB, SC etc.
