The only difference will be the price! I bought my Hidden Hitch Class III
hitch from JC Whitney for only $85 about 5 years ago. Now there are about
$100 when they are on sale. I mean if want to have Mopar hitch, then buy
one, but you are only paying for the name nothing more than that. Also,
check around as you might be able to find a Class IV hitch for you Dak. When
you say factory light harness......do you mean the trailer harness? Once
again, no need to buy from Dodge. There are tons of coompanies out there
right now which sell plug in adapters, so the installation is so easy and
you dont have to cut or solder anything, they just plug in. Most places run
about $20-$30 for the kit. You also need to decide what type of trailer you
will most be towing, so you can decide if you want to use a 4-wire flat plug
or if you want a 6 pole round plug, just so hooking up to the trailer with
also have the same plug. Good Luck.
