DML:making a ram air kit

Has any one made a ram air kit for there hood before
i want one for my new hood but they don't make one for it
so i was thinking buy the parts from ramairbox.com and
make one my self,also i have a k&n gen2 so is it even worth
all the trouble(any HP gains).
