V6 Manifold Solution

Well, next weekend is the day the intake manifold and heads come off the
truck. (Yes, the belly pan gasket is bad.)

Items that will be done:

(1) Intake and Exhaust ports will be port matched
(2) Intake and Exhaust ports will be "cleaned up" a little bit (mainly
removing any casting flash and sharp edges)
(3) 1/8" Aluminum sheet will be custom cut and TIG welded to the intake
manifold to prevent any further leaks (pressure tested to make sure that the
weld doesn't leak as well)

This may take up to four days to complete due to the welding and porting
work, but the results should be interesting. The ports will not be
elarged...just cleaned up and matched. From what i've heard from several
who have tried this, the porting really doesn't help out that much on the
Magnum heads. (Anyone know of otherwise for the V6?)
