Has anyone done any work on their NP231 Tcase as far as fixing leaks are
concerned? I have had a tiny leak somewhere in the area where the two tcase
'shell's are bolted together for some time now.
I plan on getting it fixed, but was just curious if once again the seal is
made from RTV or if it is an actual gasket. I figure the NP231 is an
extremely popular and common tcase, I just dont want to know how much a shop
wants to take the tcase apart and put on a $2.00 gasket or lay a new bead of
RTV. I would of course supply the shop with Amsoil ATF, the fluid which I
run in my tcase. Thanks,
