Yep, glad to! As far as noise goes, the turbo whistle is a lot less
noticeable than a supercharger whine, and since its in the exhaust path,
it'll actually muffle your exhaust note somewhat, so if you're into
sleeper, a turbo is a plus there. (Unless of course you're talking about a
tractor pull, where you can hear the turbos spool up miles away...) ;-)
I feel a turbo would be more streetable than a blower, especially as
the HP and torque levels increase. Blowers seem to make most gains at low
rpms whereas with a turbo, often it doesn't kick in until midrange. I
think that would make a vehicle a little easier to drive on the street, in
variable conditions. As far as faster goes, I feel that due to less
parasitic loss and more boost potential, a turbo has more potential than a
blower.
