When the truck is cold, it's receiving a slightly richer mixture. Once it
warms up, the mixture is set leaner and there is a loss of power. Most of
us have noticed this and have all found a few fixes which include:
(1) Resistor in the IAT sensor
(2) Relocated IAT sensor (installed in the intake stream instead of the hot
manifold)
(3) Cooler T'Stat (180 degree)
(4) or a combination thereof
Also, are you running with the A/C or Defroster? When it kicks on, there's
a noticeable loss of power.
