Ha ha! Latest news of the great mergers: since the buyout of the Rover/MG
Ltd for cool 2 billion and change, the blue oval is considering of buying
the rest of the partnership called BMW (own by the Quandt family) for a drop
of 10 billion and letting Volkswagen keep the Mini (MG) for some change.
Apparently the current MG Minis are powered by guess who? The Daimler-BMW
engines. Yes! BMW for 10 billion dollars and guess who is laughing at the
BMW owners at work? Goodbye BMW....Yet! not forgetting that DC purchased
the controlling interest in MM (Mitsubishi Motors) now.

Anyway, Nedcar (own by Mitsubishi Motors), own by DaimlerChrysler, builds
the Volvo V-40/S40 (another blue oval company) vehicle and wants to purchase
the controlling interest of that company. Mean while DC doesn't want to
sell it half.

Mean while Jaguar (another blue oval company) is planning to revive the
Daimler nameplate again. We know who owns the nameplate.

Interesting to note, is the talk of merging or buying interest into the
French car manufacture called Renault. By the way, who the current owner of
the NISSAN group. Hmm! DamilerChryslerNissanRenault. DCNR?

Last of the biggest rumor is the purchase of the Honda car group in Japan
and adding it to the DaimlerChrysler group. Only rumors so far.
