Sounds like the 4.7. With the 24lb Injectors you cannot open the throttle
wide but merely find the point when the air & fuel delivery match for the
given aggressive acceleration. I tried to open it wide and found it bogged
down the engine.

I'm testing out a custom programmed computer (flashed on a '96 MP PCM)
that's calibrated for 30# injectors. The programming for idle triggers
very low pulse widths for the injectors.
My testing of the computer is with 24# injectors ... tremendous
seat-of the-pants acceleration with aggressive part throttle ...
bogs at WOT from any rpm though.
Custom programming is probably the most effective way to handle
the rich idle with 30#s ... could probably put in an adjustable
fuel pressure setup but this would affect everything across the
whole rpm range.
Anybody else have experiences running larger size injectors on
normally aspirated 5.2Ls?
