ummmm..... smog release by trees? by the process of cellular respiration
of plants, they convert CO2 to O2... the "smoke" in the mntns is nothing
more than water vapor, well traditionally speaking; these days the "smoke"
comes from TN (tri-cities, etc) where the westerly winds carry industrial
pollution into NC. In return, we send dioxin and other yummy toxins down
stream via the TN river drainage.
but I digress.. we should go offtopic list..
