I had a set of speakers ripped off a couple of years ago. A freind told me
about a nasty little suprise for theives, and it worked at least once. Go get
you some trebble hooks (I hope I'm spelling this correct), the 3 prong
fishing hooks. Fasten them to the rear of your stereo head unit in an upright
position. When the crook trys to reach up under your dash to remove the unit
he will catch the fleashy part of his arm in these hooks and tear the heck
out of it! I had a 16 year old try to get my Pioneer out of my Jeep one
afternoon. I found him there hook line and sinker, blood everywhere! The kids
parents tried to sue me, said I temped the child by having so nice a stereo
in an open topped vehicle, and the maliciously injured him. State Farm took
care of the small legal bill and provided a lawyer. Judge ruled in my favor.
Thought you might like this, also if trebble hooks arn't right for you, try
razor blades. I'm a mean old man arn't I?
