Maybe on your part of the east coast, Rich, but up here in NY, we get
most of our weather from Michigan, Wisconsin, Canada, and points
north/west (lake effect, ALberta clippers, etc.). Not to say the
jetstream doesn't occasionally take a trip to the south on us - we do
see things come in from down there (mostly hurricanes and the
remnants). But a lot of those weather systems don't get carried on the
jetstream.
