That's called a "Cool Can". Moroso, Erson, and several other companies
still make them. And I totally agree with ya, they work great (on Carb fed
engines).

My brother-in-law had a ice resevore on his '72 Nova (not in 72 but rather a
few years ago). Before he raced he would pack ice in the coils. It made
about a .3 difference on average. The car would run high 10's low 11's.

Try this one: take the fuel line and create a coil like from one side to
the other. Then place dry ice in the can and watch the results. I call it
the Bernd Fuel Ice Coolant Delivery.
