Actually... I think he was referring to the interlock switch on newer model
vehicles that does not allow you to shift from park to any gear unless the
brake pedal is depressed.

Ah...got it.

You can "Speed Shift" without using the clutch, but the average person/car
thief may not know how to do this properly. I wouldn't worry about it.
