Well today I'm going out to Milan Dragway to run my stock '00 Durango. I want to see what she'll run bone stock. I would then like to order up some mods. I plan on getting a supercharger next year, but until then I want to get a cold air intake of some sort. Has anyone tested the Quick-D intake compared to other intakes, such as Gen II, Air Raid, Mopar, etc...? I'd like to see some dyno print outs comparing the different intakes, but that may be asking too much.
I also want to upgrade my exhaust. What kind of headers are most "D" owners running. I would like to get some Mesa headers, but don't want to spend about $800! I was thinking of getting Mopar or JBA's. I also want to put in a new free flowing muffler. I'd like to get a nice low mellow rumble at idle and a slightly louder growl during accelerations.
I would also like to upgrade my stock plug wires, plugs, etc... Any recommendations? I was thinking of getting MSD wires, since I'll probably need a MSD ignition w/ retard capabilities after I add my supercharger. Has anyone tried Taylor, Split Fire, Accell, or Summit wires? What kind of plugs should I run?
