Mike,
I had mine on the right fender lip just behind the headlight, mounted with
only 2 screws, but had to move it when I got the K&N GenII kit, 'cause the
filter was hitting it. Lots of guys pull the battery & mount it to the left
fender lip 'cause the power wires reach the terminals, but I opted for
extending the power wires along the firewall(don't forget to go up a gauge
when extending) instead of extending the coil wires. I have pics of before &
after locations on my page.
