Really???

Is this piece a solid tube (well the X parts) or are they hollow, I might
rig one up for my Dakota(seeing as how us Pre 97's are jsut SCREWED!!!!!)
and added amount of stability oculdn't ever hurt... adn it would drag on
things instead of inportant things...

PS where exactly does this thing mount??????
