I found this today:
"A catalytic converter is a device used in automobiles to convert exhaust
gas emitted from an incomplete combustion such as CO ,NO x and other
hydrocarbons that are dangerous to health and environment into more
environmentally friendly CO2, N2 and H2O . A catalytic converter is
comprised of the catalyst called "three-way-catalyst" , which are
Platinum(Pt), Palladium(Pd) and Rhodium(Rh) , coated on a honeycomb ceramic
support. The three-way-catalyst causes the oxidation and reduction reaction
. It reacts with the heated exhaust gas and convert into CO2,N2 and H2O .
The honeycomb ceramic support is the structure where the three-way-catalyst
coats on its surface so that the catalyst has high surface area in contact
with the gas ."

So I guess I need a 3way converter for my Dak?
