I've been running an aftermarket tach for a little over a year.
On those occasions when I'm using the stock PCM, I've noticed
that both are almost dead on. The stock tach does not have markings
between 1000 rpm (4 instead of 5) that do not make it easy to read ...
don't know why Dodge did this.
