Buy a crossover to eliminate the bass. (or a inline resistor, but I don't know what the Ohms value is...)

as i love the look and function of the stock head unit( especially if you
have the controls on the back of the steering wheel) I would buy an
aftermarket head unit with pre-amp outs. I just had a complete system
installed(head unit, front component speakers, rear speakers and 2 subs in a
MTX box, 5 channel amp) the sound is awsome without any kind of electric or
motor noise.

Just wondering, does not the factory (98-00) fac. infinity system with the
external amp. not have the pre outs to their own amp? Seems you could just
put in better speakers or tap before the factory amp. to add another amp.

Also, does anyone know how to maybe block bass into the orig. front
speakers and then add good 6.5 S rear woffers. Would this sound OK and be
worth the expense? Thanks...
