'00 Accessories Doorbell Override

I think Dodge got this one wrong. You ought to be able to sit inside you
cab, Saturday afternoon, cleaning and protecting your vinyl, doors open, key
at accessory position, listening to the radio, having a brew or anything.
What's with that incessant doorbell??? Evil thoughts are sure to follow :-/

Anybody have any workarounds for the following wish list? Am I missing
somthing obvious? Brand new double-aught! And I am happy!

1. With the key in the "on" position the doorbell times out and stops
ringing after half a minute. In "accessory" it never stops. Any way to
make the "accessories" bell use the same timer?

2. Why won't the electric windows work in "accessory"?

3. The electric windows on my Eagle Talon work for 30 seconds after the key
is turned off. Why couldn't Dodge build in the same courtesy? Anyone know
how to hook some kind of a timer up to the window power?
