17" tire question

hey all,

I am getting ready to buy some tires for the 17"
Pythons that I just got. I am wanting to get closer
to the stock tire diameter, than my 235/60/15's are
right now. I am going to go with either 245/45/17 or
245/50/17 Comp T/A's (hr4).

Does anybody know if the 245/50's would rub? The
wheels have 5" backspacing. The truck is lowered
1.75" in the front via eibach coils. They are shorter
than the stock 215/75's, which don't rub, but I am not
sure if the width will matter, since they will set
outboard a little more. Or would the 245/45 be a
safer bet?

TIA, sorry so long

Gregg
