Hahaha! Great story... You gotta' remember to bring a camera with you next
time as that pic would have been priceless! Definitely would have had a place
in next years calendar.

On my way to Home Depot this afternoon to get some landscaping
bricks/pavers, I saw a Hummer on the side of the highway. This was a
military Humvee with a guy dressed in full 'Army' clothes. I have some
uncles in the service so I decided to pull over, since he were parked on the
exit ramp where I had to get off on anyways. I approached and asked if
everything was ok or if he needed some help. It turns out his truck was
running bad so they pulled over, and couldnt get it restarted. He had no
tools and no idea what to do/look for. I had no clue either and didnt really
feel like screwing around with a Uncle Sam's Humvee, especially on a 85
degree day. I offered to take him to the nearest gas station where they
could make a phone call. He said some more military vehicles should be
coming by, so he thought about just waiting. We have a National Guard 'base'
about 3 miles from where this occured. He said they would rather not leave
the truck; so I figured what the hell.....so I asked him if he wanted me to
pull it to the nearest gas station. He said, "Think your Dodge can do
it?".........So out came the long tow strap and I hooked it up the front end
of the Hummer and away we went, very slowly, but we were moving. It was only
a 2 block pull, but half of that was UP an exit ramp. Made me feel good I
helped him out and made the ole' Dak feel good to have a Hummer hooked up to
a tow strap, BEHIND it! Towing a Humvee really made the Flowmaster howl!!
