I dunno to be honest... I think it was an option or something, although
the half-way through production assumption is probably a good one. I keep
seeing premags with "EFI" on the back of em' around here.
Actually, when I was "chip hunting" JET told me that the chip would only
work if it was built after a certain date (like March 88 or something)...
