Count yourself lucky. In the last 2.5 years I've been surfing the net and
newsgroups, almost everyone has had nothing good to say about Jacobs,
including myself. I have an EnergyTeam system that I purchased back in '94
or so, and it sure didn't live up to the claims made by Jacobs. I also went
through two of their wire sets before giving up and getting Magnecors.
Jacobs wires are under a lifetime warranty and are replaced for "free", but
it is a MAJOR hassle doing so (not to mention a charge to your credit card
for a coupla months).
Previously, I had an MSD and was VERY happy with that ignition. I won't go
back to Jacobs (especially after their poor customer service) - my next
ignition will be MSD.
