I got up early this morning and found the muffler I wanted. It's a
Flowmaster 40 Series w/"Delta Flow" technology. (Whatever the Hell THAT
is...) Replacing my Mopar (Gibson) setup. The old muff was totally rusted
out. Previous owner must have been a short tripper to get all that
condensation to sit around.
Anyhow, I'm very pleased with this muffler. It's a little louder than the
Gibson (which is what I wanted), but NO nasty resonance in the cab. Seems
to have a little more pep, but you know how that goes!
Sooooo, for those of you afraid of the 40 series (2 chamber) Flowmasters
being too loud, don't worry about it!
