OK guys! I can honestly answer the questions about the Syclone since I
owned one for 7 years.
GMC/Chevrolet S10/S15 Chassis. All wheel drive. 3.42 axle ratio. Power
distribution 35 front 65 rear. Positrack rear diff, standard front diff.
4.3 ltr 262 cid Chevrolet V6 mostly stock. Single Mitsubishi turbo with
liquid intercooler. Rated hp 280@4400. Rated torque 350 ft lbs @3400.
Factory claimed 0-60 4.6 sec, 1/4 mile 13.2 @? (dont remember)..I installed
aftermarket software, 3" straight exhaust, larger intercooler, larger
injectors, (24lb) and slightly larger turbo. Best 1/4 mile for me,
13.35@108.0 Best 0-60 4.5 if power braked. ATR could get these things to
do high 9s and still be streetable but required major engine work because
the V6 has a weak bottom end. ATR also gets Buick GNs into the 7s. I
burned 2 pistons and bent 3 rods at different times. These trucks are not
engineered well and do not hold up unless highly modified. I don't
recommend one of these trucks unless you are willing to spend magabucks to
keep it going. My inclination is theat the FERDS wont hold up in the long
run either. I sold the Syclone in order to buy my R/T.
