Actually with my recently acquired Bachelor's Degree in Criminal
Justice(graduated a week ago!), it may be a good field, haha. Actually, I am
going to likely be hired on a local police department by July, so maybe the
PI busines when I retire! I did notify the police last night about this, and
they are supposed to be getting in touch with me concerning all the details,
just sop thay have it on record. So far, damage estimates are going to
replace:
-Rear bumper, complete with license plate lights
-4 rear bumper brakets
-Buff out tailgate
-New Class III Hitch
Replacing the hitch is only on one of the estimates I got. The other two
places did not say anytihing about it. I did look really good at the hitch
today, and it did move forward about 1", so it now touches the spare tire. I
am going to get 2-3 more estimates tomorrow, and request a hitch
replacement. Since I do tow alot with my Dak, I would rather know the hitch
is not going to fail while towing something, due to the impact of the
accident. Thanks to all who have responded.
