You need to rebuild the rear end gearing. The backlash is incorrect or the
bearings are going bad. Replace the gears and all bearings, set it to
factory settings and you'll have no problems.

Mine has kinda a whine between 40 and 50 which only whines when i have my
foot on the gas, if i coast it goes away.
I have changed the diff fluid to mobil one 75w/90w and it still has the
noise..Jon
