Toe is out of adjustment. Have the dealer check for a mis-threaded Tie Rod
end. (Happened to myself and two others.)

Subject: DML: Front End problems (again?)
What causes the front tires to "Saw Tooth" on only the outer edges.. this is
the 2nd time its done it... Last time, it was the ball joints, and the
dealer also replaced the upper control arms...
I was wondering if that is the problem again... any ideas?
if the ball joints are bad again, whats the best ones peeps have had good
luck with? I now have 45k miles on my 97... and it was in the 20k ish range
when it did it the first time... so, my guess is ball joints...
