Mother's Back to Black works wonders at temporarily removing
the wax, but it does wear off with time and rain. Try the nylon
brush with the Mother's. Maybe the combination of the two will
get rid of the wax film permantently.
I got tired of trying to keep my handles and mirrors black, so I had
them painted ;-)
