I believe the Mobil 1 does include either the modifier or is OK to use alone
as it specifically states that "It prevents chatter in limited slip
differentials" on the containers.

You'll need to remove the differential cover to do the job right. There
is a magnet at the bottom of the differential housing that should be
cleaned (something the manual doesn't tell you).
I recently changed my LSD oil, I used Red Line synthetic for LSD's which
includes a friction modifier and, I added a bottle of the Mopar friction
modifier too, for good measure. The (Red Line 75W-90 gear oil)
directions stated that additional friction modifier could be added.
The Mobil 1 does not include the friction modifier.
