The MX6 has a dragster size gear. Namely 4.26 gear (depending on changes to
the tire size). Hmm! Then the Stang has a 3.28 highway gear. A Japanese
comprise to a wanna-be engine that has no torque to speak of. Meaning no
inertia to speak of off the line. Try the same on the Stang and see the
opposite results be applied against the MX6. I beaten many Hondas, Supras,
MX3, MX6 with a Suzuki Swift. Yes! A hopped up Swift GTI , stock from the
factory with 5.10 gears. Only because I had the gear size and 1800lb of
body weight.
These kids today, just don't know there car specs and think it is the engine
doing the trick. Nothing to compare to since they didn't live through the
Muscle Era of 400 plus HP.
Honda is famous of quoting 0-60 times until you read the gear ratio. Wow!
What the hell- a 4.43 gear. My Chevelle didn't have that gear to race with.
No the Viper since the HP and TQ is already there with a low 3xx range gear.
When you informed these kids about gearing, engine specs and why Japanese
engine need a high revving cam to propel the rice can, then it is whole
different story.

Dude, go ahead and waste you gas, you kick him in the ass SO HARD it's
funny, if it's a V6 it's beyond laughable, my mom's NON S/Ced Bonniville can
take out V6 Stangs all day and keep up wiht quite a few GT(V8S)
Just for a compairson, my friends has a 1989 mazda MX-6 (nice little cars)
with over 220,000 Mi on it, and he kicked the sh*t out a V6er (brand new one
too) Muskrat. THis was to fun ( I was following behind at like 1/2 throttle
hehehehe)
