what kind of performance increases would one see if they were to do this?
i've often wondered why manufacturers don't give transmissions one more gear
for higher top end speeds or lower highway rpms for better gas
mileage...sorta like an over-over-drive if you will. :)
another transmission question: why can't i get a 5.9L with 5spd
manual?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? wtf? i hate auto's so i'm stuck with a 4.7L
instead of 5.9. that sucks. would i be able to swap my 4.7L for a 5.9L (or
maybe bigger) at a later date and keep my standard tranny? i hope so.
