4.7 rough Idle (UPDATE)

Ok Guys I think, or should I say the mechanic at my Dodge Dealer found
out why My ailing Dakota was Idling rough, Hot and Cold starts &
stalling every now and then, but it was getting worst by the day it
seems, more often.

Well I got out of work went to the Dakota in the parking lot, fired it
up and it almost stalled on me.
I was gonna call the Dealer when I got home to make an appointment,
cause I figured they wouldn't take me right in anyway.

Well I decided, Ahhhhh what the heck
I'll stop by the Dealer, since I drive right by the place on my way home
from work.
I went in and told them what was going on, and they took my truck right
in,
I couldn't believe it, and then mechanic plugged the Computer up to it.

Sooooooooo the Mechanic fired it up and said WHOA..!!! the vacuum SHOT
right up to 24, he said that's WAY TO HIGH,
he said it should have only went up to
16, 17 the most.
("Oh by the way, the mechanic owns a 99 Dakota Sport, CC V8, so looks
like he's a Dakota lover too")

I asked him what was causing that, and he said it was the (MAP SENSOR)
gone sour on ya.
I'm not to smart when it comes to these Sensor thingy's, but I'm sure
theres a lot of smart Guys and Gals on the list that do understand what
a Map sensor does...

So folks I just wanted to let ya all know what the problem was, I hope,
hehe

I'll keep ya all updated on the new Map sensor change..
Well they have to order it, he said bring the Dakota in on Tuesday
morning.
I'll post on the list Tuesday or wed and let ya all know how my ailing
Dakota doing.

Sorry for the long post folks, but it had too be said, hehe.
