The bigger the number (4.10, 3.90, 3.55) the more RPM's you'll be spinning
on the highway. (Unless you have oversized tires...like 32" or bigger). So
yes, to your question...the 3.90's will generate slightly better mileage
than 4.10's. There isn't that much of a difference but, in some cases,
every little drop counts.

4.10 vs. 3.55: The 4.10:1 gears will allow much quicker 0-60 times and, in
some cases, better 1/4 mile trap speeds (and times).

The better way to answer this is by asking you this: What is the goal that
you're aiming at?
