Andy,
You shouldn't have any problem getting it repainted. It is a known problem
with these trucks. I got mine repainted no problem and they even painted it
to match the body color of my truck for no extra charge. I am not sure what
color your truck is but it looks a lot better having everything one color.
If they give you a bunch of hassle try another dealership or ask to talk to
the regional rep. Good Luck
