Yup they made them, they have a gawd awful stripe job w/ graphic red paint.
In the stripes, which take up over half the sides of the truck, it says indy
500. I know a guy who owned one. It was 4x4 too.
I owned a 87 V6 4x4 and believe me, they wont get out of their own way! They
are rated at 125 peak HP, I dont know the torque. And, unless you like Jeff
Gordon, then the stripes arent for you.
Now if you want to drop a mag V8 in there and rebuild the tranny (hopefully
thats all you would need to do) then dont go for it.
Just my 2 cents, but they are rare and legit.
