I am sure that the engines that are forth coming are not going to be called
Magnum anymore. There is the work to revisit the HEMI production once again
for the complete truck line. Seeing the competition is gaining momentum
among the sales like the Ford F-150 & Chebby SilverR.
The Mopar crate motors will be the last to be hit when the demands are not
there. This will be the last of the MAGNUM series. You know it is not
Chrysler making these decision anymore it is the Daimler Group who is in
charge.
Again, all the truck lineup motors are going be the hemi line. I think even
the V-6 will be a smaller hemi spin-off from the V8 motor. But then, I
could be wrong unless we have someone who works inside Chrysler in Detroit.
You know the rumor mill and how fast it spreads.

I had my K&N Chrome airhat sandblasted and painted Black (to match the rest
of the truck). So I wanted to put the sticker that was on my stock air hat
on that "MAGNUM" so I went down an ordered a couple. At first I was sure
they would tell me I couldn't order them (as usual) but they did have them
in the system (only 25 though!). The parts guy still isn't sure if I'll get
'em or not though.
