Playing with the Flex-a-lite dual fans

Its been 90+ degrees here and the dual fans have been
cooling great. Just out of curiosity I pulled one of
the fuses from 1 fan to see if the other would keep the
engine cool. NO PROBLEMS! big surprise, and with the
air conditoning on sitting at stoplights. Yes the temp
does move up to 195-200 (stock range), but stays in this
range, never close to the 210 mark. Not bad for a single
12" 1200 CFM fan (dual mode 2400). I've made up my mind
to add another on/off relay with manual switch to manually
turn on the second one for backup when needed. You guys
with the ASP underdrive 3 piece set, this may be the way
to go to save some battery power. :o]
