Well the insurance adjuster finally looked at my Dak and cut me a check this
morning. Of course, the repair price(s) are still open, since more damage
might be found or more repair time may be needed. The repair shop estimated
$1500 damage, and the insurance adjuster looked over my truck and wrote me a
check out for $1000. Basically I will be getting a rear bumper, 3 bumper
brackets(one is still good?!), new Class III Hidden Hitch, and there was
also some frame bending which will be fixed. The top 'bumper pads' are going
to simply be swapped over, since the adjuster didnt want to dish out $28 for
2 new ones. I have an appointment for the 12th, and the truck will be in for
3 days. Have to make a phone call now and see how much they will give me for
a rental vehicle.
