SMD is not a quick track, nor is it particularly smooth. Be careful in the
shutdown and return road, as it used to be really uneven (I haven't run
there for five years or so). The shutdown is rough enough that I've seen
cars with low pressure slicks bounce enough to get really out of control.
And while you're there, picture them running 1/4 mile at the same track,
because they did that at some time in the past until a pro gas lost it into
the trees at the end of the strip. It's not a bad track for street or heavy
eliminator drags, just a little hairy for Super Pro.
